We have a national reputation across the Citizens Advice network, of over 280 local offices, as experts of immigration knowledge and service delivery.
Citizens Advice Bolton have just been awarded a new contract to deliver specialist Immigration advice via a dedicated telephone line for advisers working across the Citizens Advice network, who are delivering advice (face to face/ webchat/ telephone) to clients.
The postholder will be part of a team of immigration experts, located within Citizens Advice Bolton (CAB) and Citizens Advice Staffordshire North & Stoke-on-Trent (CASNS).
The postholder will undertake the following key functions:
a) You will act as a specialist resource on immigration law to advisers working across the Citizens Advice network
b) Provide specialist immigration advice to local citizens advice offices, to be passed onto the client
c) Using your specialist knowledge, identify if the query is above level OISC 1, taking appropriate steps to ensure client is advised appropriately
d) In line with project requirements, support clients with queries at OISC level 2, or above.
