We have a national reputation across the Citizens Advice network, of over 280 local offices, as experts of immigration knowledge and service delivery.
Citizens Advice Bolton have just been awarded a new contract to deliver specialist immigration advice via a dedicated telephone line for advisers working across the Citizens Advice network, who are delivering advice (face to face/ webchat/ telephone) to clients.
Based in Bolton, you will directly oversee a supervisor and a team of immigration experts, who are located within Citizens Advice Bolton (CAB) and Citizens Advice Staffordshire North & Stoke-on-Trent (CASNS).
The postholder will undertake the following key functions:
a) Establish and oversee the delivery of a specialist immigration contact centre
b) Closely monitor demand on the service, prioritising resources where required
c) Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, internally and externally
d) Provide line management for all staff working within the project, across multiple sites
e) Develop packages of support for providers across the Citizens Advice network
f) Research and develop briefings to highlight trends and policy issues with decision makers
