We can help you, You can help us...
The demand for our services is considerable and is constantly growing. To meet it we need to rely heavily on our ICT systems and our specialist staff and volunteer advisers. We are completely independent and our advice is impartial, confidential and free. We are a charity. That means, like any charity, we rely on the support and generosity of companies, grant-making trusts and members of the public. People like you. Demand for our services, such as money and debt advice, is constantly increasing. Yet our funding is unable to keep pace and ensuring our bureaux remains open is increasingly challenging. Modernising our service and training our staff is key to the high quality advice we give - yet essential projects will be delayed without sufficient funds.
Did you know that every Citizens Advice Bureau is a charity?
Money1
For 20 years, the Citizens Advice Bureaux has been a vital part of the fabric of your community. Today, the demand for our services is greater than ever. But at the same time, we are facing budget cuts and are concerned that our funding is becoming inadequate to cover our basic costs. Some of our work helps boost the local economy. Each year, for example, we help many people who have been overwhelmed by debt. This one aspect of our service saves businesses considerable sums in litigation and debt write-off. We need the support of businesses, both big and small, there are many things you can do to get involved.
If you are upgrading office equipment, we may be able to make use of your previous equipment.
